FORESTS & LIVELIHOODS

Practices and policies that improve forest management and the livelihoods of the rural poor in the insular Caribbean (2007-2010).

Regional workshop
The project will conclude with a multi-sectoral regional workshop which will consider the findings from this project and others under the Forests and Livelihoods Programme, with a view to finalising recommendations on institutional arrangements for pro-poor forest management in the and identifying outstanding capacity needs and research issues. The workshop is likely to take place in late 2009.
