FORESTS & LIVELIHOODS

Practices and policies that improve forest management and the livelihoods of the rural poor in the insular Caribbean (2007-2010).

National workshops
The national workshops under this project are being run in tandem with those under the Participatory Forest Management: Improving policy and institutional capacity for development project, National workshops on forests and livelihoods. These will raise awareness about and skills and knowledge in applying institutional arrangements in forest management that optimise socio-economic benefits to the rural poor at a national level.
